A lucky coincidence[]
The Avatars have had a good fortune: if before they thought it was likely that the Elders could not hinder them, now it is almost certain that they will not. The fight against the Trinity has just begun and the Elders have already been halved... plus considering that they have hidden the existence of the Trinity for millennia, their subordinates will lose faith in them without them doing anything the road is clearing before them.
