This spell was written by Phoebe to reveal the Evil within Magic School. In order to cast spell, the user would need the map of the area and some white powder. Once the spell is cast, the white powder glows in a red light to reveal the evil on the map. The effect of this spell can be reversed by evil, causing good to show up on the map in green light instead.
The spell was later rewritten by Billie to reveal all magic on her college campus, as a way to track down Violet Morgan, a newly revealed witch, who was too new to be tracked by traditional methodes.
Prue and Penny Halliwell also created a new version of this spell in order to reveal the location of Julian Turner. They rewrote the spell to reveal those who shared their blood.
