Merrick was a low-level demon and leader of a demonic gang. After his gang was attacked by Julian Turner, he agreed to work for Dahlia in exchange for revenge.
History[]
After Julian vanquished several members of his gang, Merrick sought out Dahlia at her new club. He reasoned that since she bought the club, she was also interested in the Halliwells, and offered to work together. Dahlia replied that she did not work with others and offered him two choices, either swear his loyalty or be vanquished. He swore his loyalty and they shared a kiss.
Dahlia ordered Merrick's men to attack the manor in order to lure out the cousins. Meanwhile, Merrick told Dahlia he wanted to replace Ryuu, her second-in-command, though she replied that he needed to prove himself first. Merrick was unaware of the fact that she was just stringing him along, as she merely wanted to use him for a while.
While getting Dahlia a drink, Merrick recognized Julian at the club and followed him to the bathroom. The two engaged in a fight and Merrick summoned four of his gang members. However, Julian was able to vanquish them by electrocuting them through the wet floor. He then vanquished Merrick with a fireball.
