Chosen Chapter 15: We Have History

Portrayed by

Armin Shimerman

.
"I see your point. I think that can be arranged. Allow me to set things in motion. A small accident should suffice."
—Bowan to Ambrose.[src]

Bowan was a Wizard from the city of Avalon. He desired revenge against the Source of All Evil for the near-extiction of his kind and wanted to become the new Source to bring them back.

HistoryEdit

Ancient TimesEdit

Bowan and Ambrosius visited Atlantis to object to the opening of an academy that would train witches, as they believed that their magic only belonged to wizards. Prince Emyr turned them down after a dicussion with Ambrosius. Ambrose planned to sabotage the witches and create an accident at the academy. Bowan agreed and told his friend that he would set things in motion. However, the result of the accident turned out much more destructive than intended and resulted in the destruction of Atlantis.

During the same time, the Source of All Evil became fearful of the wizard race and started to view them as a threat to his reign. When Atlantis was destroyed, the Source used this tragedy to declare war against the entire race and nearly drove them to extinction. Avalon was the last city to fall and Bowan was one of the six wizards able to escape.

Trying to Become the SourceEdit

When Cole Turner was about to be coronated as the new Source, Bowan attempted to steal the Grimoire but failed. He went to the Charmed Ones and convinced them to help him steal the book. After they succeeded, the sisters learned that while they wanted to destroy it, Bowan wanted to use it. He then took the Grimoire after tricking the sisters with an illusion.

Bowan confronted Cole at his penthouse, though Cole offered him the power of the Source, as his love for Phoebe was overpowering the essence's influence. Meanwhile, the Seer kidnapped Phoebe and manipulated her into supporting Cole for their unborn son. Phoebe interrupted the ritual between Bowan and Cole, vanquishing the wizard before it could be completed.
